bouche
I'm not sure what to think of it. I've listened to about 20 minutes, and as neat as it is to make out what Bob Dylan is saying, he's not really saying a whole lot. The story about the black dude getting thrown in jail for six years because he was seen with a white woman (who was in fact his wife) was sad and he tied it to a song, but I didn't really dig the tune. Esau
LOL, yeah, he's just being a host, nothing unexpected thats for sure, although this was the statement from the get-go. Bob was just going to be a host. Seems people were or might have been expecting performces or chronicles type stories. Its not somthing for the casual or non-Dylan fan, only people really interested in this are the Dylanologists & hardcore Dylan collectors. bouche
I'm sure he's picking tunes that he grew up with too, which is why there were some from the 30's
Esau
Yep, which is why I enjoy it as much as I do. I guess you'd sure not enjoy yourself around my house, theres a heck of a lot of music from the 20s, 30s & 40s played around here.
