guigsy
one down' date=' 3 to go...[/quote']worst. review. ever.c'mon, as if anyone cares about shows in london.but, just for you, i'll try again.great musicians, they can change, charge up and take off like a frickin' fighter jet, there's certainly some great pockets within some songs, but on the whole, i found the songs to be pretty weak overall. fun to watch certain players (bass player from the sadies whose name i always forget, and dallas good who is quickly becoming a favourite guitarist of mine, most notably), and pick apart their parts and listen for those within the massive sound of everything else.yeah, it was about as loud and greasy as you'd expect this rock outfit to be.but its been a long time since a band bored me into nodding off in the bar... and when did the show finish, 12:30 or so?but, back to dallas good - i gain a whole new respect for him everytime i see him play. i found his parts last night to be a little subtle, but perfect for the moments - great accents, very tasteful placements, and a sweet touch.im always amazed at how well the sadies play together with, seemingly, little stage interaction. crazy musicians. they're always spot on.
