I told him how great it was and he invited me back to his hotel. It was wild. He and Peter Frampton jammed until 4AM. The best part was getting a ride home from soccer star Paolo Rossi, the hero of Italy's World Cup in 1982. I'll never forget it. And the poster doesn't do him justice.
