Biggest Fan
To be honest you have to question that list a little bit. Not that there is anything wrong with a good stout but to be 2-n-3...Belgian beers are an obvious pick.A whole lot of IPA's...One thing is for sure I need to continue with my own personal research on the subject. Guest Low Roller
The list was fine until I saw La Fin Du Monde on it. That stuff is pure raunch.....
Blane
Péché Mortel (Imperial Stout Au Cafe)style: American Double Stout / abv: 9.00%brewer: Brasserie Dieu Du Ciel This shit is to DIE for. Dieu Du Ciel is about 5mins from my house and make the best damn beer. That it broke the top 50 without them being able to distribute it (due to archaic licensing in Quebec) says a lot I think. If you're ever in Montreal make sure you check out Dieu Du Ciel and Cheval Blanc, the best 2 breweries in town IMO.
bradm
Where in town is Dieu Du Ciel, Blane (in terms a heady anglo who's mostly familiar with the downtown area around where Le Swimming used to be can understand)? It also looks like Cheval Blanc isn't too far from the bus station, correct?(Now, if we could just get Montreal to host a beer festival...)Aloha,Brad

Corner of Clark and Laurier.Le Cheval Blanc: about a 5 min walk from the bus station. If you time your visit well, you can also catch some great Quebecois jazz there.Beer Festival:http://www.festivalmondialbiere.qc.ca/Starts in 11 days! Possibly the best beer fest in North America.
