Who's gonna be there? I am really looking forward to this one, but really wish I could get smashed and not have to be at work the next morning.

It's at the Phoenix, and Rotate This still has tickets for $30. Should be about $35 at the door.

if you wanna hear g. love, fuck the jack johnson stuff. no offense, Baj, but go straight to the source.

self titled debut is fucking brilliance. roll yourself a fattie, get yourself a cold beverage and sit out on the back porch... or open all the windows if you dont have one.

yeah it's that easy and philadelphonic are pretty good, too... from what i understand jack pretty much got kickstarted by g. love with a song of his on philadelphonic called rodeo clowns.

i dont have any links to live shows, brad, i've only heard a couple... i imagine he's on the archive, though..

grab those albums.

Thanks, Basher. I listened to it, and, well, it didn't really work for me. It seemed like every song was in the same mid-speed tempo, and while it may seem funky to some, it didn't to me (I like my funk with a slightly harder edge). His rapping also didn't really get me going (again, I like stuff that's a little/lot harder).

I can see how/why people would like his/their music, though.

Aloha,

Brad
