meggo
okay this is serious business! no tongue in cheek answers please. i'm putting together my lesson for this afternoon's civics class. we're going to start looking at 'policies and platforms.' i think we'll look at the conservatives since they're our government [for now! ]. who can give me 4 - 5 conservative policies? i could look on the website but i find it vague, and i could sit and think about it but i don't really have time. we're going to draw a big platform suitcase with all the policies inside. thanks! Hux
1) Clean up government by passing the Federal Accountability Act; 2) Provide real tax relief to working families by cutting the GST; 3) Make our streets and communities safer by cracking down on crime; 4) Help parents with the cost of raising their children; and 5) Work with the provinces to establish a Patient Wait Times Guarantee. AdamH
Their version of accountability seems like nothing more than extra treasury board signatures on contribution agreements. yeah, the whole placed is locked DOWN with that extra hancock!
