zero
"Listening to his entrancing self-titled disc for World Village, you can hear that the kid twangs the Bamako blues like a Niger River delta veteran twice his age."

allison
Totally cool project with VieuxCreative CommonsBasically the source files for one of his songs are available at this site for free/copyright free, the point being that djs can remix and enter a contest with their remix, to be produced on a compilation cd and go on tour with some world class djs and Vieux.Crazy cool-as contests go.Weird fact--Farka is actually not a family name-its one that has to be earned/given.Ali was given it as he was the last remaining of a huge family.Vieux has it as his father was opposed to his musical path, but Vieux stubbornly stuck with it-thus Farka in his instance means "donkey".
