treefaery
Hi Does anyone know of a jamband scene, especially a good bar to book a sweet jamband at, in Kingston? I have a friend who is moving there who likes the crowd and wants a chill hang out too. Just wondering if anyone knows that area up there. Thanks. dieseldoug
Hey Faery I think the jamband bar in Kingston is called the Scherzo Pub.
c-towns
I've seen Burt Neilson at Alphies Pub on the University Campus, not a bad room and lots of wooks came out for that one. peaceinjam.jamesd.
MoMack
Scherzo is the place for our scene... Alfies on occasion and the Merchant on occasion. Even the Elixer once and a while... But make sure your friend has lots of cds...

skelter
Scherzo is the main spot, Merchant did a few but no one knows what the hell they're up to anymore Alfie's has some, but it's a university bar so it's not open to the public. New Deal, Metalwood, Drums & Tuba, The Slip have all played Elixir. As far as local jam bands (or similar to jam bands) go, there's Riff Raft, Bloom, Pico De Gallo, The Mudlocks... that's all I can think of for now.
