Seriously though, I think Nero is the bomb diggity but I'd like to see a new band. Plus, their webpage is funk-nasty and their MP3s sound good. Oh, and Kung says he likes 'em. So naturally I like them (see: every Slip reference on this board) But if it wanks, or if Zaphod's runs out of quarts, I'll bike over to Babylon. AdamH Posted September 5, 2003 Author Report Share Posted September 5, 2003 Well, they claim to be a psychedelic band...tricky woo was the shit back in the Cosmic Steve/CZone days of my youth so I have high hopes. Zaphod's is a wierd place...on one hand they have decent music (my gf likes that it's the only place you'll hear Belle and Sebastian) but on the other hand it's expensive and populated by the too cool for school crew any time I've been there. I mean, the whole Kangol/black shirt/Red tie elvis costello bit is so fucking old anyway. Bands are good though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
