Booche Posted November 4, 2007 Report Share Posted November 4, 2007 I thought Bullmoose killed it tonight. They had a ‘less than easy’ opening slot and somehow still performed a high intensity set. This band deserves more attention than they get but I also think the same thing about Akron Family and look where that gets them. It’s nights like tonight when I realize people’s opinion mean complete shit, or at least mine always does. I can’t say much about Elkas because we knew we had to leave early which immediately made me biased before they took the stage. None the less, pretty-fucking-decent songwriting but I was less than engaged. My dog needed to get outside so I knew it was time to go home which held back my potential enjoyment. He’s a cute beagle but so is the rest of that band. The call-response between Peter and Jeff prior to the ‘I Cant Turn You Loose’ lines almost made me stay but my dog man. My dog.
