M
This just in.... SpinCycle will be opening up for Blue Quarter tonight at the Rivoli. They will be going on around 10:30pm. They have a new set-up in that Mike's been playing his acoustic with them lately. Mike on acoustic, Jer on the bass laser, and Lowell on drums using brush sticks (all 3 of these guys are current or former members of BNB for those who haven't seen them before). I saw them last Friday at El Mocambo (oops almost wrote The El Mocambo but remembered that's someone's pet peeve ). Last Friday night's show was AWESOME! The best incarnation of SpinCycle I've seen to date. Mike's new songs are just magic. The show was met with incredible response. Chris Brown of Chris Brown and Kate Fenner told the boys he was blown away and I believe there could be some future collaboration happening.... Anyway, hope to see you all out! It's Friday! Get this girl a beverage!
