I am living in South Korea and Laser eye surgery is about half the price here as compared to Canada. Does n e one have any experiences, thoughts, This would be such a giant change for the rest of my life? has anyone here had this surgery ?

You have to investigate this fully. Laser-surgery comes with risks (there appears to be a growing fail rate since it's a releatively new procedure).and I wouldn't recommend going the bargain or good deal route. It's your eyes were're talking about. My sister went to the best laser surgery clinic in Canada and she now wears glasses and has lost her night-vision.

You have to ask a trusted optomotrist and/or opthomologist about whether you are a suitable candidate or not.

I've worn glasses for thirty years and I don't trust laser-surgery.

Two of my collegues have had it done and sing it's praises all the time. They are so glad they did it.

I couldn't tell you where they did it or how much they paid, but there's some good feedback out there as well as the horror stories.

Me? I could have it done but there's no way in hell I'm paying thatkind of money for something that risky.
