OB1
How can ticketmaster be affiliated with Ticketsnow. Ticketsnow sells tickets for more than face value. Isn't that scalping. I understand when its on ebay or stubhub but a website the is connected to ticketmaster doesn't make sense. Unless ticketmaster buys up a bunch of regular seats and sells them on ticketsnow for triple the price. This is messed up and alomost impossibe to get big name tickets for regular prices. bouche
i don't know how they get away with it....i really don't. ticketmaster has ticket auctions as well that ensures tickets sell for ridiculous amounts above face value. these are tickets that they don't even own yet. also, i thought sellign tix over face even on ebay is slightly illegal. jayr
So what, they save half of the Tickets for big events and then sell them off for 3-10x their value? Is this to solve scalping? Total scam. We looked for ACDC tix and they were sold out but if we wanted to fork out $238 we could get nose bleeds....or $897 for okay seats. dimafleck: the living legend.
makes me sick to my stomach.sigur ros sold out so fast.but if you go to tickets now..... at least 100 tickets for over $200its annoying on two counts:1) they snag all these tickets2) they drive up the price for all tickets sold by scalpers/fans.there's no escaping it.
