And the bassfest of SMV: The June 25-July 5 festival’s opening and closing nights will also feature groups, led respectively, by trumpeter Dave Douglas and drummer Brian Blade, two of the leading figures in contemporary jazz.And there will be concerts from the Maria Schneider Jazz Orchestra, winner of at least one Grammy award for each of its last four albums, and the electric-bass power trio SMV, featuring Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller and Victor Wooten.
