Dude gets kidnapped, beaten, then tossed out by his wife

A man testified Tuesday that he was kidnapped then beaten to a pulp by a trio of thugs and forced to withdraw thousands of dollars in an around-the-clock nightmare.

Yet he smoked crack, took a shower and went to the lobby for beer and peanuts before calling his wife and — finally — the police.

Why?

“I don’t know,” Sayer told the men’s trial. “I’ve been trying to answer that question for months.

“At this point, I was up for so long and confused and given drugs. I went to the phone a couple of times. I looked back at the door and though the second I pick this up, they’ll come in.

“I was freaked out.”

Sayer testified he got drunk alone in the Byward Market on Dec. 3, 2008, then decided to buy crack.

He met a guy called Joe and the pair went to a Montreal Rd. house.

There, Sayer said, he was beaten by three strangers — Michel Levesque, Jamie Walsh and Stephan Panet-Raymond — who demanded cash.

He said Levesque and Panet-Raymond then drove him around in the wee hours of Dec. 4 having him try unsuccessfully to withdraw money with a Visa card.

He said he didn’t run because they told him they’d shoot him in the leg — he’d already seen a handgun — or be stabbed.

Panet-Raymond allegedly threatened him with a knife, asking if he wanted to die. They struggled, Sayer said, then Levesque beat him almost unconscious.

“I’m crying and I’m bleeding a lot — loops of blood and snot are pouring out of me,” Sayer said.

“I’m begging them. I have a family. Mike uttered the threat that they’d rape and kill my wife.

Sayer called police about 5 a.m. Dec.5.

First, however, he called his wife, who was initially terrified then apparently unsympathetic — she kicked him out the next day.

I'm going to guess this wasn't his first time trying crack and she got fed up....... Or it was part of the rules of his rehab or intervention.

Also reported in todays Sun is the guy who was travelling to Elgin with his fiancee from the US but got stopped and deported due to child porn on his laptop..... I am going to guess that wedding is off?!

I just really loved how the story unfolded. He just happened to try crack while getting loaded all alone downtown and ended up in this really shitty situation in which he continued to smoke crack.

Then at the end of it all, when he came to his senses, he calls his wife, then the cops, then she boots him out on his ass right after this all went down.

This should become a tv show.
