These guys are a solid band with good funky beat and this weekend (Feb 14,15) they are playing at the Fairview Pub on West Broadway. I saw them last year do a complete Hendrix tribute and it was amazing. (On Hendrix's birthday.) Whenever they are in the area, I'm cuttin up some dance floor. I remember that back in '97 PPM took up residency in Southern Ontario for a month (actually in Hamilton, wasn't it?), and proceeded to play every city and town within driving distance. They played every week at the old Amigo's (now the Funky Monkey), and everyone there had a blast. For some musical fun, look for their second album, "Sette" (sorry, there's an "accent aigou" over the second e, but my computer doesn't give me French accent options...) Brian.
