The latest installment in the Grateful Dead Road Trips series looks back to May of 1970. Road Trips Vol. 3, No. 3 presents two performances from the Fillmore East on May 15, 1970. The group’s early and late shows from that date are both included on this 3-CD set which features music from the yet-to-be released Workingman’s Dead. A bonus disc that accompanies the initial orders includes additional songs from the May 1970 Fillmore East run as well as a portion of the May 14 gig at Meramec College in Kirkwood, MO (“New Speedway Boogie,†“St. Stephen,†“Not Fade Away†and “Lovelight.â€).
