Crazy shit.. I guess the footage just surfaced.

Alarming video footage has surfaced showing passengers, furniture and heavy machinery being thrown around the inside of a cruise ship, reportedly the Australian cruise liner Pacific Sun.

According to London's Daily Telegraph, 42 people were injured after the P&O ship ran into a storm about 650 kilometres of the coast of New Zealand in July 2008.

The ship was turning into the storm when its side was hit with huge waves, causing it to violently roll.

In one video, passengers and crew are sent careening violently across the room like dolls, along with chairs, tables and anything else not nailed down. One woman can be seen hitting a pillar.

In a second video below deck, a forklift and other heavy equipment is shown tossed around like toys.

The passengers, who suffered broken ribs and limbs, a fractured pelvis and cuts, were returning from New Zealand after a South Pacific tour to Vanuatu, according to the Daily Telegraph. There were 1,732 passengers and 671 crew on board.

The company offered passengers a 25 per cent discount on future cruises, as well as counselling for those who needed.

The ship did not appear to be seriously damaged.
