The Jimmy Swift Band’s sound is a fusion of the best in both rock and electronic music. The result is the creation of a style that is uniquely JSB. Their live show is a frenzy of sweat, blood, dancing, and thrashing – all to hypnotic rhythms and an unrelenting energy that is both addictive and unstoppable. A truly independent band that have forged their own path yet have made a living playing music. On stage their tireless energy has always been focused on the audience – on turning at concert into an unforgettable experience.

★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Thanks for coming out to Scientists of Sound's recreation of Daft Punk's Homework last month at Lee's Palace. It was a really wild night - the boys played the album marvelously.

Scientists of Sound (SOS) is made up of two members of Halifax's The Jimmy Swift Band, (Craig Mercer and Aaron Collier), who are one of my favorite Canadian Bands - they are returning to Toronto Saturday, November 27th at Revival - 783 College St. for a epic CD Release Party with special guests The Wax and a special SOS performance. If you enjoyed the Daft Punk Tribute, then you'll be impressed by this incredible night of live rock-tronica. I hope you can make it!

Little update from the land of JSB...

It's been quite some time since we have hit the road... we have all been busy working on other musical and non musical projects, but we are proud to have finally finished our new album -

When all is said and done......There'll be a lot more said than done.

The album contains a bunch of new tracks and jams, as well as some remixes that we are really proud of. Produced by keyboardist Aaron Collier, the album marks a bit of a change for the band - we have always had a bit of an electronic element to our music, but on this record it is more prevalent than before, and the result is something a bit different than anything you have heard from us in the past. To celebrate the release of the record, we are hitting the road, and have a string of dates through Ontario, Quebec, and the East Coast.

Download 4 new tracks from the album here: http://bit.ly/h15LGc

Hope you can make it!
