Burt's Cat Is Dead performs interpretations of songs from the Grateful Dead's catalogue. Members include experienced players from the Canadian jam scene - Mike Filipowitsch (Burt Neilson Band), Adam Bernstein (Fat Cats), Mikey Vukovich (The Jackets and Zuffalo), and Kim Manning (Conor Gains Band and Zuffalo). The band is on a constant quest to offer a fresh take on these classic songs. Burt's Cat is Dead knows just when to fill space with their infectious jams and when to offer an airy interlude.

Zeca and the Hydroponic Lizards are a quirky rock band and one of those incredible genre bending Toronto bands influenced by the Brazilian movements Tropicália and Clube da Esquina!

Zeca Polina is a songwriter who drinks from the most diverse sources of musical inspiration, from Brazilian traditional baião and samba to 60’s psychedelic rock, country music and blues.

Alongside originals, Zeca and said Lizards will play their own versions of the The Kinks, Milton Nascimento, Love, Raul Seixas, Shocking Blue and others. Zeca Polina’s discography and a free download of his most recent album are available on the website http://www.zecapolina.com/

June 10th isnt that far away Toronto people. Please. If you live in TO and still cherish the idea of jumping on a boxcar and riding it wherever it may take you, then you should go.

Mike Filipowitsch makes this is a "cant-miss" show. From what I gather on Facebook he is moving across the water so I am guessing this is one of the last times you get to enjoy the realm within him during the middle of things. Please go and tell the rest of us how much fun it was.
