Esau.
Quote World Fiddle Day is an annual celebration of fiddle music, held on the third Saturday May. In 2015, Canada declared World Fiddle Day to be National Fiddle Day as well. There were celebrations in Owen Sound,Ontario, St. John's, Newfoundland and Toronto. The Ottawa Fiddle and Stepdancing Competition was held in Richmond, Ontario https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Fiddle_Day So, share somethin' here's one of my favourite: bouche
bONES
I had the great opportunity to meet Vassar Clements in 2001 (thanks DSO), and had goosebumps watching that man play his fiddle. Esau.

edger
I LOVE Spirit Family Reunion. Had the pleasant surprise of being introduced to them when they opened for Trampled by Turtles a few years back. They really grabbed me. I saw them again a year or two later however the fiddle player above (who has some incredible wailing vocals that aren't fully displayed in that clip) was no longer with them. I don't know if that was a permanent change or what but I was really disappointed as he was an integral part to their mix in my opinion. They don't seem to have a lot of tour dates...was wondering if they were still a band, but it seems a handful of shows in August are on their website. Salt of the earth stuff...
