Colin W Posted February 21, 2003 Report Posted February 21, 2003 I grabbed this from the Rolling Stone outtake article. Sorry if someone already posted it. A great quote from Fish about real bands and the whole scare of people downloading music form the INternet. He makes a good point. "I could fucking care less if everybody downloads our album off the Internet. We're not in a position to be screwed by that at all. We have the one thing the Internet can't touch -- live music. If you can actually go out and play your fucking instruments, you won't be replaced by the Internet. If you're a good live act and you put on a good show, people will buy a ticket to see your show. "

Vermontdave Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 And his sense of style! Notice on the cover of RS, everyone else has hockey skates on, but his are figure skates.
DevO Posted February 22, 2003 Report Posted February 22, 2003 Notice how this quote wasn't published in the (more widely read) print version of Rolling Stone eh.
