AD Posted August 15, 2007 Report Share Posted August 15, 2007 HOLLYWOOD -- Get well soon to new Price is Right host Drew Carey, who suffered a mishap during a run-through for an upcoming taping that sent him to the hospital.It seems Carey, who was getting acquainted with the Price set and its many intriguing contraptions, was goofing around with the Grocery Game last Friday and somehow snagged his arm in the segment's trusty turntable.As Price-hounds can tell you, the Grocery Game is the one where there are five grocery items on display and the contestant is required to select multiples of certain articles so that the total comes in between $20 and $21.Don't know if one of those items happened to be Bactine, but when Carey returned to the set late in the day he was wearing a cast.Somewhere out in Retirementville, old pro Bob Barker's having himself a good chuckle.
