Omemee - Neil Young / R&R museum

Had to go to Omemee for work today. Low and behold, what do I see, but the Neil Young museum! I totally forgot why I'd heard of Omemee before.

Anyways, not sure its been talked about here. It was pretty cool. Some neat stuff. Not just Neil. Some cool surporises. The bluegrass section has Jerry's banjo! (no drums, I looked).

Sarturday/Sundays only. And maybe good weather months only. If you're at all in the neighbourhood I'd say its worth a check out.

I've been curious about this too over the years. I think Neil's brother (Bob?) owns and/or runs it. The Sadies are playing a show in Omeemee sometime soon that is a fundraiser for this museum.

Museum has no affiliation with Neil or his family. But it is Neil's brother putting on that benefit for the museum (with the Sadies).

Never Been up definitely gonna stop in and take a look. Neil was just there last week what a surprise that would a been if you went the same time as Neil himself.
