A fake Apple ad making the rounds online claims that iPhone users can charge their devices wirelessly in the microwave.

The ad, which shares many design characteristics with official Apple advertising, describes a new 'Wave' feature in iOS 8, the latest mobile operating system released for Apple’s mobile device users.

"You can now Wave-charge your device by placing it within a household microwave for a minute and a half," reads the post. "iOS 8 contains new drivers that interface with your device's radio-baseband allowing it to synchronize with microwave frequencies and use them to recharge our batter."

Bono has undergone five hours of surgery after breaking his arm in six places and suffering a broken eye socket falling off his bike in New York.

U2 released a low-key statement three days ago saying their frontman needed surgery after a “cycling spill” in Central Park, and they were cancelling a planned week-long residency on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

According to details obtained by Rolling Stone, Bono’s injuries as a result of what doctors called a “high-energy bicycle accident” were much more severe than the band let on.

Apple says that it will release a removal tool for iTunes users who want to delete the now ubiquitous x-rays and scans from their iTunes in the coming days.
