  1. Hey Now, How many people can Mavericks fit in it? We've never played there before.. Is it the bar under Dekcuf? We're gonna get there early on Sat. any good afternoon music in the market? It's gonna be a beautiful weekend so we want to walk around. Oh and can someone put me in touch with Dave L. from nero?? I wanna ask him to come out and jam.. thanks,,mark
  2. OK saw Tom the other day and he's got a bit more info up if anyone's interested.. http://www.geocities.com/folkinblues/lys07
  3. Happy Birthday Hux!! I got some Bobby put aside for you on Saturday night. Hope to see you out and about..
  4. Can anyone suggest a west coast music scene website to check out?? I am moving to Van in july? thanks.. good regular jams as well? thanks,, Mark from caution jam..
  5. Your buck and doe will be my last gig/jam.. I'm staying 2 extra weeks to do it. I'm sure Cjam will play in Hamilton again with or without me.
  6. NEXT!! This is gonna be one of the last few shows i play with the Caution Jam. To be doing it with one of my favorite Ontario bands will be a blast. Ottawa was one of the very first towns I went to in my rock band daze ( first time was 1989 at Barrymores). I truly hope alot of the Ottawa gang come out to book end my Ontario experience and to hear the great music Diesel Dog is making these days.
  7. This is almost always the reason one musician does not lend another their stuff. I never lend my high end gear. Drop it and who pays? its weird. Like Marco said as well "why should he" the drummer is on the road and its not his responsiblity to provide gear. Its a big drag, but thats the way it goes on the "bigger" gigs. In my pre jamband days my rock band opened for many big name acts where we were told "Our stuff is set up, you can not move it so set up in front of us". None were worse than when we opened for the Ramones (2 shows in 92'). Or Blue Rodeo for that matter. There was nothing we could do.. The show must go on... And sounds like the the Fatties played the best hand they could, given the cards they were dealt. Also sounds like everyone still had a great time.. Wish i could have been there.
  8. I wrote all those down and will do.. Its been a while Steve looking forward to seeing you. GAME ON!!
  9. Eyes... no problem .. i'll take any other requests and relate them to both bands.. ***Hey,, one small favour,, will some of you folks please come up to me and introduce yourselves?? I have no idea who i'm talking to on this board most times.. I'm Mark the guitar player in Cjam with long hair.*** PS: can anyone tape this show??
  10. Just got an invite from my buddy Rob who plays keys for DSO.. Is anyone going to the show in Rochester may 9th?
  11. Man o man i just want to take the whole day off and sit around in the sun then slowly make my way down to the gig.. HAPPY 4 : 20 EVERYBODY!!
  12. Cjam will go till midnight..then BNB after that. Healeys is at 56 Blue Jays Way just south of queen st.
  13. No opener that i have heard of... thus the friday night show at Healeys..
  14. Yep Caution Jam will start at 10:30.. both bands will play long sets and guest in eachothers sets. We may get lucky and see Mr. Healey jam with us as he has done a few times in the past.
  15. YA! I was at Umphreys on tuesday and had lots of folks coming up and saying they had heard those ads.. The new Healeys is supposed to a very nice venue. We've come up with some fun ideas for the show. I think we'll see a lot of cross over jamming throughout the entire night. I'm hoping to see lots of folks out for the entire 4/20 extravaganza weekend.. With the weather looking so good the black bull patio might be a great pre Cjam/BNB/NRPS drinking spot in the afternoons. I wonder if they serve up the overproof Southern Comfort Jeff??
  16. I'm very excited about this show . I have only seen them once before. Looking forward to seeing some old friends too.
  17. Perfect! Southern Comfort YES,,, Burritos NO.. Just another freaky Friday night at the freakers ball!!!!!!
  18. Ahhh Jeff you know I don't drink... (when i'm sleeping) Hey really nice poster by the way,, thanks for that.
  19. Hey C.J. If anyone can do it you can... Wanna start with a little southern?? I hear it soothes the throat
  20. WOW!! I really enjoyed that show.. To be close enough to watch professionals like that in action is very educational.. Everything the drummer played made me move,, and Pat's "Miles Davis" midi trumpet sounds were pretty cool. Was "the pikasso" the guitar used to record One Quiet Night ??
  21. Just got a pair of tix from a buddy and I will be having a few drinks with Willy at C'est What before the show. I'm very excited.
  22. Mark?? please explain. I hope that doesnt mean 6 Caution Jam shows left. I doubt there will ever be a final Cjam show M.O.B.E but there is a very good chance i'll be taking a leave of absence for the rest of 2007 after the boat cruise. The boys will keep playing forever. I'll know for sure in a week or two.
  23. Cjam will start around 10 30 i suspect... then flow into BNB NRPS/Fattie info can be found on another thread...
  24. Make sense to me Wil... Healey's is only a 45 min bus ride for me... So thats a no brainer. 6 shows left...
