  1. Congrats on getting an offer accepted. That's a big win Sorry, i don't know about the tax benefits of co-signing vs. going solo. Maybe if there's some massive difference in incomes, or one person works out of the home and you can then write off more expenses (since it's based on a percentage of use) maybe? Every time we've done one we've co-signed.
  2. Now that they breakdown the price on the printed tix, people may realize how much is added to "face value" in these transactions. I just got 4 lawn tix for Rush in the mail today. Total face value = $110 .... not bad Then, Total Transaction Charged = $187.50 !! 70% ON TOP OF FACE !! Order Processing Fee, Convenience charges, Facility Fees = bend over and get ready
  3. Yeah, i hear ya. I have absolutely loved both shows that i've attended (first one with you ) and another time last year. Both at Massey. QE Theatre should be a great fit for them. Gotta thank you again for the suggestion wayy back to watch Once, and then to see them perform live. Can't tell you how many other people I have pushed to watch the movie. Everyone has been extremely happy after acting on the suggestion If you hear of a presale password for tomorrow's onsale let me know. Great last-minute gift for the wife who's bday is on Wednesday.

    yayyyyyy God

Thanks for posting that DEM. Great opinion piece. As always, the arguments get distorted and people feed on headlines. I suppose you could just tell all those kids to think of Jesus and what he'd do in any of the sexual situations they may find themselves in.
  6. Yup. Site wasn't hacked, but rather substituted. The site in question was http://revolutionmuslim.com/ It wasn't hacked, but rather a parody site was set up in its place: http://revolutionislam.com/ What really needs to be reported in the MSM are the Muslim groups that do actively speak out against this sort of thing. For example: http://www.theamericanmuslim.org/tam.php/features/articles/south_park_episode/0018038
  7. Parker and Stone have always created their material with the attitude that everyone is fair game for roasting, ridicule, jabs, barbs, mockery, etc. I think that it's more to expose the ridiculousness of that application of 'obedience' within a certain sector of that faith. The fact that the fringe/radical groups within Islam (they are not the majority) can effect US network broadcasts in such a way is mind-boggling in the "Land of the Free." Compare it to the religious groups that oppose abortions and threaten doctors and pregnant women on a daily basis in the USA. Some have gone to the extreme and murdered doctors because abortion does not agree with their interpretations of their faith. Does it mean that Fox and the other networks cave and never depict or talk about the subject? No. Let's see how they manage "Everbody Draw Mohammed Day" http://www.mynorthwest.com/?nid=11&sid=313170#
  8. Here's Muhammed dressed in a bear costume!!! hohoho Good on Matt and Trey for having the balls to take this on. Fox caved to the threats of one fringe radical group. The censorship that was used went to prove the point even more that this sort of thing is absolutely absurd. Do you see Buddhist groups freakin' for showing Buddha doing rails? It's good that the League of Super Best Friends is here to save the day. Last night's Simpson's chalkboard: South Park had another two-parter a few years back when the the residents of South Park went crazy at the thought of the Family Guy possibly was going to air an episode depicting Muhammed.
  9. For a second there i thought that may have been Sean Hannity after a night of boozin' and losing a bet Good on ya for honouring your deal and allowing for digital image reproduction of the payout too.

    Treme

Same for me. I'm collecting the episodes now for mini marathons I hate having to wait a week for the next episode Finishing up Firefly now and loving it (thanks again for a killer recommendation).
  11. I'm sure Trey's happy with the Philly outcome: me and a few buddies of mine were almost able to get him and some of the crew out to play a pickup game of shinny at Lake Placid in '95. Damn, that would have been fun.
  12. Cool! http://www.glidemagazine.com/hiddentrack/furthur-to-cover-dead-albums-at-festival/ Furthur to Cover Dead Albums at Festival Speaking of Furthur, the group has just announced that they will perform six classic Grateful Dead albums in their entirety over the course of the Furthur Festival on Memorial Day Weekend. On Saturday, Phil and Bobby’s band will tackle American Beauty as Set 1, Workingman’s Dead as Set 2 and Anthem of the Sun as Set 3. On Sunday, Furthur will rock Blues For Allah as Set 1, Axomoxoa as Set 2 and Terrapin Station as Set 3. The other news about that the festival, that Jambands.com also first reported, is that Furthur will treat fans to a public soundcheck on Friday and the members of the group “will be jamming on several stages with some of their friends.†This news certainly ups the ante on what was already a fun-looking event. Furthur Festival takes place at Calaveras County Fairgrounds in Angel Camp, CA on May 28-30. Tickets are available now through the newly designed Furthur Festival website. Other acts scheduled to perform at Furthur Festival include Electric Hot Tuna, Jackie Greene, Galactic, Larry Campbell & Theresa Williams, Mark Karan and Jemimah Puddleduck, The Mother Hips, The Waybacks, Common Rotation with Dan Bern, Carney and Maiden Lane. http://www.furthurfestival.com/
  13. [color:purple]no worries ... retards helping retards
  14. So, while I love the podcasts, i found the animated show is not nearly as funny. There's something to be said about radio and the fact that you utilize your imagination to generate imagery. Word out that Gervais has got the go ahead for a NEW sitcom. Now THIS looks fucking great! http://gnews.com/entertainment/Ricky-Gervais-Giant-New-Dwarf-Comedy-Approved-54224619863.html
  15. This one? Wonder if they gave him a prize for Roll Down The Cliff To Win!
  16. Drunk guy vs. Flip Flop would have been worth the price of admission
  17. once they go onsale to the public tomorrow, i'd expect both of these shows to sellout in short order. Grab your lawns ... if you decide not to go, it'll be an easy ticket to unload.
  18. Go LAWN!! Got 4 lawns for close to the price of 2 upper bowl ACC seats. Gonna be one helluva party both nights.
