  2. [blurb]NIce announcement for 4/20: http://forums.wolfgangsvault.com/forums/permalink/8464/8464/ShowThread.aspx#8464 The Concert Vault download service has launched today (you may have noticed our not-so-subtle box at the top of the home page). We have been hard at work building out this functionality and getting these concerts ready for download. 52 shows are available for purchase at a standard price of $9.98. The download list includes some shows that are currently up for streaming as well as others from the Vault that had yet to see the light of day. We will post new shows as they become available and add the "Buy" button to indicate that you can then download a given concert. [/blurb] A handful of details for you: ° Performer royalties – performers and publishers are paid a royalty fee for every show you purchase. ° Standard price of $9.98 – we felt this was an attractive and fair price and we like the simplicity of one standard rate. This may change over time but it made sense to us at launch. ° File quality – initially, all shows will be downloaded as 256Kbps mp3 files. We intend to offer the option of lossless in the future. ° DRM – as we’ve discussed before, we think that DRM is a mistake and puts restrictions on you, the consumer, that don’t make any sense. Obviously, we are adamantly opposed to illegal file sharing but feel that you have purchased the right to play your music where and when you wish. We've been streaming concerts for over six months for free to the public but at a substantial cost to us. We hope you will support our efforts, and the artists, by purchasing a few concerts. By the way, we hope you like the new features and layout. Please let us know what you think. Cheers! Wolfgang

  7. Crosby = gained respect Sean Hill = lost any shred of respect that may have been even slightly present NHL drug policies = lost all respect. Why bother if you aren't going to enforce them with due process? What a joke!
  8. WOW! He's a tough kid if he played though with an injury like that, and was still able to get points. Respect to Syd ... looking forward to seeing him next season. Too bad he can't play for Canada now

  14. Just back from spending an hour in the sun and warmth outside. Everyone seems to be happy (and they aren't all participating in the 4/20 holidaze). My tummy is full with a killer Burrito Boyz chicken burrito. Now all I need to do is get outta work and partake in my 4/20 with some kind family (along with a few pints)
  15. I was just about to compliment MarcO on his pick too. Great song! He's unemployed. His folks are overjoyed. ROCK ON!

  17. I don't think that's too picky. I was tempted to debate the "867-5309" in another theme. However, one could say that the number "4" is in "5446". I'd prefer 4 or 20 on their own, but on this day, I'm just a little too relaxed and would rather feel the sunshine and smell the flowers I'll leave it up to y'all to decide if it should stay or if it should go.
  18. Brad, Yup, I just don't want the word "for" to count (e.g., "For The Benefit Of Mr. Kit" doesn't go) except in a Prince kinda way since he uses the number 4
  19. Sit back and hold your breath, just let nature take effect A warm glow inside my bones The touch of velvet rubbed against my soul Thought of things youve always known Thought of things youve always known Break through and listen, to yourself To your self Let go perception - enter true reality I can see through my third eyes... Sit back and hold your breath, just let nature take effect A warm glow inside my bones The touch of velvet rubbed against my soul Thought of things youve always known Thought of things youve always known Break through and listen, to yourself To your self Let go of perception - enter true reality A sea of green will set us free Dank Expand my inner being Through what the earth provides I hear her voice calling The hour has arrived... Sit back and hold your breath, just let nature take effect A warm glow inside my bones The touch of velvet rubbed against my soul Thought of things youve always known Thought of things youve always known Break through and listen, to yourself To your self Let go of perception - enter true reality Its 4 :20
