  1. Hey, you said it!!! just kidding I'm psyched to see Martin Levac with Turn It On Again ... and the rumours that he'll be heading up TMB for a TOTT tour later this year :)
  2. Hey, it went up 4 mins before the "official" thread!!! Cut me some slack slacker
  3. That was a fun game (aside from the Leafs losing). The "almost" comeback in the 3rd was amazing. Sundin rocked ... can't believe they don't make a call when a guy is spitting blood on the ice. Shame. The Habs OWNED the faceoff circle. Two goals on one-timers off the faceoff. That really was like a playoff game.
  4. Sick. There was a case similar to this that I read about last year. Some guy (in the UK i think) who was in his 30s or 40s had been faking his own mental retardation and hired home nurses to look after him (on the state's money). He would have them change his diapers (which he didn't need to wear) and while doing so, he'd fondle their breasts!! It took years before they caught on to him.

  7. Buddy, you just described my evening to a T! Unfuckingbelievable!! That's perfect. Best response to those who think we are nuts ...
  8. Thanks ... i just came up with that. However, in this day and age it could scare people away (you know, EVIL peanut butter and the rampant allergies to nuts!) Maybe we don't need the Bunch group ... just do a Jambands.ca Family Jam! There's gotta be enough talent in here.
  9. LOL ... Please, I would LOVE to see Nolan in a Sens jersey. Just wait until the next game in Toronto ... the fans might even lay off Alfie for a while :)
  10. Well, we made it to the event and had a blast. It was well run and a ton of fun for everyone. Wayyy better than a lot of the kiddie-crap that's out there, IMHO. I spoke with one of the 2 organizers and she's looking forward to pulling off another ROCK show in the near future. Looks like it would be at the ElMocambo. She asked me if I wanted to play (don't know why she thought I was in a band ). I told her that I may know of some cool musicians who may be interested in getting involved in something like this. Anyone? Take a look at their website. http://www.bunchfamily.ca/ I'm going to contact them again soon and see if maybe we could help 'em out. Who knows, maybe it could be co-sponsored with Jambands.ca ... make it a "Peanut Butter & Jam Bands Concert" ! The kids would LOVE it.

  12. They're going for broke ... and that's how they may end up next year ... BROKE (with now picks, prospects or promise) Then again, maybe they'll win the CUP!
  13. I love that shit. There were a few in there that I hadn't seen before ... AMAZING! About 10 years ago, there was a guy doing one of these (could have been him) at Bay and Bloor in Toronto. You could walk out to a platform in the middle of the drawing and the perspective made you feel like you were looking down a chasm to water WAYYYYYY below. Super trippy and I was stone cold sober!!!
  14. Looks like a flurry of action is about to begin
  15. Carolina gets Anson Carter Atlanta gets Zhitnik and Keith Tkachuk!

  17. http://tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=197768&hubname= Bob McKenzie 2/26/2007 12:49:48 PM It is Decision Day for Gary Roberts. The Florida Panther forward was told by General Manager Jacques Martin this morning after practice that the club had found a trade it deemed acceptable and all that is required to consummate the transaction is Roberts' waiving of his no-trade clause. But that may be easier said than done. Roberts had made it abundantly clear that he would only waive his no-trade clause for two teams - the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators. And sources suggest the deal the Panthers have worked out with Roberts is with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Related Info While sources suggest Roberts is still intent on playing in only Toronto or Ottawa, he apparently is going to take some time to consider the Panthers' wishes. But that should not necessarily be confused with waiving the no-trade clause to go to Pittsburgh or anywhere else other than Toronto or Ottawa. Roberts did not accompany the Panthers' on their flight this afternoon to Washington, but is expected to let the Panthers know later today whether he will waive the no-trade clause to go to Pittsburgh. While Ottawa and Toronto have shown some interest in acquiring Roberts, Pittsburgh has shown the most interest. Sources say the Penguins are prepared to give up a young roster player with potential in exchange for Roberts, who is an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. Stay tuned.
  18. Fuckthat ... would rather have it won in good ol' overtime with a GOAL!!!

  20. I remember that fight. I hated Hextall and those Flyers. Did you see how many of them teamed up on single Habs? Was it in response to this hit in a previous game? I can't remember:
