  1. According to Will (sShredder) the food is quite good. I haven't eaten there though. Jaydawg or Will would know best.
  2. T-Shirt Hell has responded in record time to this.
  3. I was going to nominate May Pen Jamaica as the worst place I've ever been. And I've been to some bad places. But while I don't like hot, Carribean / Ocean resort places, Negril is pretty f-ing sweet. For the 20 minutes I was there.
  4. San Sebastian is nice, if you can stand all the pasty Germans and Brits that over-run the place. Good beach. My favourite place was San Jose, Spain. In the Cabo de Gata Park, on the South-Eastern tip, just east of Almeria. I was there 4 years ago; a friend visited last year and it has been over-run by developers and has lost the small town / no tourist charm. Awesome memories though. Best beach in the world is still a 45 minute walk from town though. No roads go to it. Have to hike over a mountain. Amazing. Now, my favourite place is waist deep in snow, wherever it is, or under my duvet.
  5. Huron Wind is only 5 turbines. The one near Shelbourne is pretty impressive, have driven by that one many times. The centre of rotation thingy on the turbines is the size of a school bus. Here's some projects going on in Ontario: * 99 MW—Erie Shores Wind Farm, Erie Shores Wind Farm L.P. (Port Burwell) * 99MW—Prince Wind Farm, Superior Wind Energy Inc. (Prince Township, near Sault Ste. Marie) * 67.5 MW—Melancthon Grey Wind Project, Canadian Hydro Developers, Inc. (Shelbourne) * 39.6 MW—Kingsbridge Wind Power Project, EPCOR (Goderich)
  6. that's nothing. i remember seeing zamboni drag-races growing up in stratford, among other things. these guys are only in the paper because they were caught. still, good for them for trying though. hats off.

Since we're talking Adult Swim, I'd like to be referred to as the Space Ghost expert. And Sealab 2021 is damn funny too.

    The Slip?

definitely. i had one like that at deckuf for nero when a friend of mine was working the bar. i finished off each almost empty bottle of liquor by chugging it straight from the bottle. woke up at home, didn't remember any of the show. great show.

    favorite cheese

Bluuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuue. Bresse Bleu is good. Nice and mild. The crazy danish blues are too strong. Brie-ee Blues are the way to go. Also I like most goat cheeses. NiCastro in the Glebe has crazy cheeses. I buying little bits of crazy cheeses at the House of Cheese in the market. But they never stick around long enough for me to remember their names.

    The Slip?

Scottie, I got From the Gecko from a certain friend of yours who I will not name in a public forum that same summer, I think it was just after Oswego. I was visting him at the beach in the Bend one day and that was one of the CDs he burnt for me. Still in medium rotation (about once a month). Funny though, I can't remember my first Slip show. Anyone have a list of all their Canadian dates? I think the first time I saw them was in Canada... hmmm AD

    The Slip?

Hey Mr. Promoter, thanks for getting an awesome lineup for the Ottawa show. a 90 minute set is ideal. All three bands are great. The bar is perfect.
