Directions from Windsor to Old School House -> Blair and Mud's Stag and Doe f'n good time!
From Downtown take Oulette Ave away from the giant buildings that are Detroit. This then turns into Dougal after you go over a big bridge that goes over some tracks. This then turns into the 401. Take this until you see Bloomfield exit and get off there (whatever turns you on, sheesh) Look for the big party on your left within 1-2 minutes after getting off of the 401. you must head TOWARD Chatham to get there.
This message will self destruct in 30 seconds...
Approx driving time 40 minutes from the Detroit River to the party...very close. GO!

Nice one dave-o. Love the significant lyrics.
How about a Divided Sky where during the silent jam, phish leaves the stage and thats it, done. crazy ending that'd be ::
-
sure glad to have seen ya last night Heather. We showed up earlier than expected because James Brown was a flop.
See ya in Chatham next week!
...and kudos on NO GARAGE!

can't wait to see everyone again Ker! See ya Friday, i will be coming home in the early afternoon/late morning, i'll stop in if its not too early and your car is home.
-
i don't know dave-o. Wading closed out Big Cypress and Friday is pretty lame. I see you're going with the slow ending though which is pretty likely. hows about an inlaw-bittersweet? i just thought of another, Free. Perfect.

i just got home from work, can i still bake...........there we are ::

Plain and simple, what will Phish's last song EVER be?
It all boils down to the mood, what you the fan wants to personally hear, what song Phish thinks epitomizes themselves and their career.
I am wishing like hell that they go out on a rager, none of this sentimental the last 21 years have been great yadayada.
I want a killer, drop dead, blow your mind off, Suzy Greenburg.....also appropriate would be a pumped up Golgi Apparatus (last song played, first song written)
I SAW YOU WITH A TICKET STUB IN YOUR HAND!
!!
!!!
QOTD part deux: on a less significant note, what will the opener of the last night be?
I'm thinkin something traditional....a Wilson or maybe a Runaway Jim. Possibly PYITE or even a Sneakin Sally.
Out of those for me it has to be the Sneakin Sally though. What a tune to open with. So i have the ladies opening and closing the last night in Coventry.
You?

EKOOSTIK HOOKAH
They rock like no other band i've ever seen (besides phish of course) and they are growing and reaching outside of their niche lately. Things will be interesting.
Ingredients for the 'next' one in my opinion would be originality first and foremost. Give people a reason to become infatuated. ie- mystery languages of the late 80's to mid 90's for phish. A gimic. PHish had Gamehenge, the Dead had LSD and the whole psychadelic movement. Tapers, shit there's enough of them around doing wicked work now not to worry. IMPROV! MUST HAVE IMPROV JAMMING. i think this is the key right here. Both Dead and PH were masters of the improvised jam perhaps the best ever. And last but certainly not least they will need a genius. Jerry and Trey eat/ate, sleep and breathe music. Both had about 3-4 side projects going all the time and were incapable of stopping making music. It consumed them. And not only the same old music, but music that was far different from the style that they played in their 'main' bands. When something like this materializes, we might see something big happen. MIGHT.

Heading for Izzy's? ----->jealous
happy birthday my friend.
Save me some room next to Jazzy, i'm settin up camp there. Keri might be jealous, but i may kiss that ole girl this weekend.
Cheers, here's to many a raised glass this weekend.
When people ask me to describe Willy, the only thing i can come up with is "SOLID, just solid."

well, we've been fucked by the weatherperson again kids. rain in the forecast all three days. bring your rain gear!
I have a big tarp and poles so if any of the KW kiddies see this, be sure to save some room for me to put it up on saturday, preferably near trees, they stand better than poles when the wind comes.
