The stike is over! We stood together for four weeks. No-one crossed the line. What an experience. Man, we are a solid group. We ajust for inflation each year 3.5%. We will pay 25% of medical ben. instead of 85%. Looks good and will pay for my time off. We lost nothing. The union also collected some donations from the buisness sector. They will send us all a check. If you find yourself in need to strike go for it. You can help alot of people.

What he gives us in pay increase he takes back by increasing our med bennifits. That is why we are on strike. Newrider-thats what happens to scabs; I got to eat too and they can work somewhere else. And no I'm not an prick for being on strike.

Anything in the news will bring us support and attention for the Sheraton. The G.M. makes himself look good with his petty offer. He says he will feed us all turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. How generous and great press for him. He is paying $75.00 an hour for two investigators with cameras x 24 hours a week. He also pays an agency probably $50.00/hour for each scab.The scab will earn maby $10-$15./hour. We have around 15 scabs. He is running around 60% capacity so they are loosing money. United We Stand.

China company hides under the Sheraton name. So the strike is against the hotel.

Those scabs cannot do the work. Nothing running under Sheraton standards. The garbage is taking over.It takes two hours to clean one room for an experienced housekeeper x 230 rooms/day.How can they keep up? We have politicians visiting today at noon.Thanks all, for your input.

Hello from the front. the hotel hired goons to harass us. I was threaten and run over buy the new goons.Day two-goons are gone new rules not alowing us to make noise. Day three- must remove our selves from our ally headquarters by Tuesday.Day four- cabbie union gives us parking spot out front. Our 8x14 trailer will be arriving soon. Still strong, lots of support and donations are coming in. more to come.

Our vote was 63 yes to strike 9 no. One lady has been working at the hotel for 27 years, she comes in one day and finds out she has no shift. Other folks with 15-20 years service will now have a pension thats less then strike pay.

Hi everybody! We have been getting tons of support. I posted on the board because I know skanks care.They won't let us make noise but if someone drives by honking then they can do nothing. Okay, so this China company rents the Sheraton name. Then they proceed with there plan to get rid of employees with retirement pensions (job security), make us pay our own medical($100./m), hire unskilled labour,force people to work overtime for free (because the think they will loose there job). Don't knock the union. They got me my job back after the G.M. decided he didn't like me. You remember the tainted shit found on the market from china? They use only uninspected products from China at tha hotel. These people are billionairs and they love our country. We must stick together brothers and sisters. p.s. if you walk my strike I will help you when they come for your job.
