Up to 20 teams this year although with each passing season it seems that the herd gets culled a bit more.
-
For sure! On top of that I am finding that it is not just about numbers of songs or length of show for many of the dates so far. Almost every night there is a tour premiere and there have even been a few first timers - along with the new tracks from the fabulous Wrecking Ball lp. He has all of the Bruce related message boards affluter. PT eat your heart out!
From the above set the following would qualify in the Phish world as bust outs:
Thunder Road on piano to open the show a la 75
Frankie
Knock On Wood
Plus Prove it All Night and Backstreets included some long lost portions that used to appear during the 70's.
I am very excited by this tour and hope to catch as many shows as I can before this thing wraps at some point next year.

I might show up for the Ken Whiteley, Taj Mahal, Bobby Blue Bland segment on Sunday.
-
Tasty yes, but also one of the most widely circulated JGB shows. I think GDP is a getting a little bit lazy.
-
I watched this live on webcast. It was hearty.
I believe that Sari and Craig were there.

If you ever wanted to go, this might be a nice choice:

If Hyde Park can cut off Bruce w McCartney, surely the same fate should have befallen Seal:

I like the bass high in the mix, but my nostrils were vibrating and I felt like I was in the backseat of a Camaro.
This reads like something out of a gentlemonkey review; well done!
-
I've been known to pull the same stunt.
"I'm just keeping it warm for you!" is my retort when they inevitably tell me to scram.....
-
Good Old War should be on everyones list. I saw them at Mariposa last weekend and they stole the show.
-
That was a "brutal review" that sounds like most of the "research" was done using each bands press kit.

8 covers in one night. I've said this before but some nights it feels like Phish relies more on other peoples music to make for a great show, rather than just giving us their own compositions.
That set does look hot hot hot.
Wish I was there.
-
I'm going to couch tour the shows. I really like what the band has been doing over the last couple of weeks. Have phun!
-
Let me know if that doesn't work for you, I know someone who has two extra weekend passes.
-
Happy fuckin birthday man!
I think I was right below your friends balcony at about 6, but you didn't hear me yelling up or calling you.
Paul Simon was on the boombox and there was a lot of profanity.

If you go, do yourself a favour and eat at the Pearl St Grill. Great beers and the pig fingers will keep you coming back.

Click on the banner over the video, then close it and you'll be good.

Yep!
We're heading straight to Akron after Star Lake. I'm not sure if I will head to Cleveland for the RRHOF or if I am going to go to Canton for the Football Hall of Fame.
-
I thought $175 was pretty reasonable too. Apparently weren't the only ones: two sold for $550 and one went for $650 on ebay yesterday.

Weird, I chose 7:15. It can be moved but we are running out of days before Sept 5!
I just noticed I got a message from Yahoo that there were no draft slots at that time. The draft time choice is limited to either 6:45 or 10:30 on the 29ths.
