I don't drink fancy though- Budweiser and 40 Creek Whiskey will suffice.

For those that don't know, you should expect BB to play MAYBE half the time he will be listed on the schedule. His band will "warm up" the crowd for a while. At least that has been the case the few times I have seen him headline.

There is a little gap in the She and Him tour dates that fit well with Bluesfest as they play Montreal on July 3 and the next show is July 6 in NYC.

Pollstar had listed Los Lobos, Los Lonely Boys and Alejandro Escovedo as playing at Bluesfest on July 14 - but they have since been removed.

Its true that they had events and no one would show up. When I lived there I attended more than a few shows that I didn't know anyone at, or when I did those were the only people there.

Hopefully this will resurrect the place, I personally think its an outstanding spot to catch a show.

I'm not sure I have ever seen a band play consecutive nights at Darien so I'm thinking that might either be a fake list or a list of the venue holds they currently have.

And furthermore, there is no way they would play at Van Andel in July. There are much better outdoor options within 2 hours in any direction (well except West, that would be in the middle of the lake). The last show I saw there was about 50% full and it was during the Phish glory years.

Yup I've got it. Its an record that deserves the vinyl treatment.

A flat surface and some thick books are your friend. It will take weeks, even months for the thickest stock to flatten out. Be very careful when trying to flatten the thicker ones, the surface will bubble if you force it.

Yes that usually works. A photocopy of the id and cc, along with a note from the person who originally purchased that has their signature will usually please almost any box office employee.
