The Black Crowes have officially ended their nearly two-year hiatus, and will embark on their "Lay Down with Number 13" tour next year. The trek will kick off in late March with five dates in the UK, to be followed with a month-long tour of the U.S. Tickets for this first round of dates will be available starting January 11 at 10:13 AM local time, and ticket link information will be available on January 1 at www.blackcrowes.com. Additional dates will be announced soon.
In terms of the lineup fans will be seeing, a statement from the band indicates that Chris Robinson (lead vocals, guitar), Rich Robinson (guitar, vocals), Steve Gorman (drums), Sven Pipien (bass) and Adam Macdougall (keyboards) will welcome the addition of Jackie Greene on guitar and vocals, replacing Luther Dickinson.

Killer site. Thanks SK!
This one certainly doesn`t have the same depth, but it does feature some great Bill Frisell and other treats that I rarely see anywhere else:
-
Or how about the actors playing the role of distraught parents?
-
Favoured to win the World Series at 8-1 odds.

No Good Old War?

Did NW delete some praise for Good Old War in this thread, or am I imagining things?
I definitely did.

-
Paul avoided all Kurt comparisons by playing the ukelele?
-
Here is the total production schedule in case you are getting tired and are just wondering if Sir Paul is really going to sing a Nirvana song.
-
My sentiments exactly. Totally surprised that Eddie wasn't out for that one.
-
"More windmill!"
-
Max is the full time drummer, his son Jay only filled in when Conan was taping and Max had to be elsewhere.
Did anyone else notice fake Eddie Vedder before he actually came out? Was it him or just a rock god body double?
Hallelujah with Sandler and Shaffer was great. More of that please.
-
I'm personally disgusted that Paul will perform as Kurt. WTF?!?!
-
Bruce Springsteen – Wrecking Ball
Good Old War – Come Back as Rain
Patterson Hood – Heat Lightening Rumbles in the Distance
Craig Finn – Clear Eyes Full Hearts
Dr Dog – Be the Void
Honorable Mentions:
Lucero- Women and Work
Dr John – Locked Down
Glen Hansard - Rhythm and Repose
Chris Robinson Brotherhood – Big Moon Ritual
Alabama Shakes – Boys and Girls (it counts, although I and many had it earlier than this year)
-
Cool, thanks!

Wow is right AD.
So personal yet so public. I doubt that will mend the fence any time soon.

The guy playing the teases is Dan Kanter- Beibers guitarist.
He has been very very popular on twitter with both Phish and Beiberheads alike.
Finally Beiber and crew saw Phish on the last run:

But no I've haven't been following at all ;-)

Card #73 FTB (13/13) 11 winners of $85,324.40
I am so pissed.

I have only listened to it once, and found the same things you did: great music in need of an editor at times.
That said the songs played live were amazing, and some of those cringe worthy lyrics were removed as he played shortened versions of a couple of tunes- the title track in particular.

Pittsburgh won.
Shit!
Do I need to post a #1?

Pro Line Pools: $5, pick winners straight up, share in half of the total prize money with others who make perfect selections.
I was perfect yesterday- picked every game correct, EXCEPT I took San Fran to beat StL. They tied. Tie goes to the visitor in this facking pool.
Only needed Pittsburgh tonight- no brainer FTW.
One point from $3000 to $10000.

I really hope you didn`t black out before that final drive. Huskers FTMFW!

I thought it was weak, and that Louis was visibly nervous (even screwing up a few lines). His opening monologue was a word for word bit from his act I saw a few weeks ago- I thought they'd come up with something unique.
Overall I was completely disappointed.
And fun. - WTF was that?!?

I would also expect to see them on the festival circuit next summer.
