Vanderpark had a great time as well - so glad we were able to share the stage with some great acts. I met some really cool people there as well...i wish i could have stayed longer.
Kudos to What The Thunder Said for lending us some of their gear so two guys in the band could make a bolt for moe.down.

While it's no doubt that this woman's feelings were 'hurt', it would be interesting to find out how the medical board will ultimately justify a penalty for "lack of compassion." This interests me as someone who works in medical ethics - while MDs may be 'expected' to act compassionately in practice, one cannot be penalized for acting "un-compassionately" especially since compassion is something that cannot be objectively defined nor required from a legal standpoint.
This clearly differs from malpractice or medical negligence in where a mistake was made intentionally or unintentionally. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it was argued that this case can be in a similar vein to a malpractice case whereby acting without 'compassion' (lets say), the MD caused 'serious harm' and 'distress' to the individual. If the NH board makes this argument, then they better be prepared when the floodgates open.

"headlines in black and white, they don't mean a thing..."
-
This is the new album...c'mon everyone, you know the words, "Just go ahead now!"
-
I went there from 87-93.
Right on, NBB for life. You were there way before me, I was a staff member there from '99 - '02. Good times.
-
he runs the camp with his mom that i used to go to
-
Ohhhh Wheels - didn't he go and search for his long lost father in one episode? Wasn't his father touring the country in some bar band?
The actors who played Snake, Spike, Caitlin, and some others went to my highschool. Yep, i'm cool.

My little brother was watching the new series ("the next generation") on tv the other night and the lead character Craig (played by Jake Epstein) played in a battle of the bands with his band. Though his character is completely unlike Joey Jerimiah (Joey is consequently his Godfather in the show) he has a band as well with some other Degrassi comrades...anyone know the name?

Hey all
We're happy to report that we'll be opening up for The Spin Doctors at Lee's Palace in Toronto on September 2nd.
Tickets available at: Ticketmaster.ca, Horsehoe Front Bar, Rotate This and Soundscapes.
The Spin Doctors have been a big influence for us (we used to cover 'Two Princes' a couple years back) so this is really exciting for the band.
We're also playing the night before, Sept.1st, in Toronto at Third Floor Reilly's. It's an all-ages show, but we're offering FREE admission to all those 19+. Email me booch@vanderpark.com, or PM me, if you're interested in attending.
Peace and Love
Booch
PS: You can stream our album at www.vanderpark.com (and you can buy it online too )
