No, I agree Booche, Hartsburg rep is tough but fair which is why I think he should be given a chance. Ultimately I feel it's time for Murray to go (which probably won't happen until off season if at all) and bring in hard ass GM and let the rebuidling process begin.

Seriously it's too bad about Murray because ultimately he has a reputation as a builder and not a finisher and he definitely didn't do a good job finishing with the Sens but there's no way in hell I want him around for the obvious building period that has to take place. Like I said, I'd like a huge asshole brought in as GM or coach who will at the very least rattle that guys that they keep (please keep Heatley). I'm not really sure this is Hartsburg fault, this team seems to simply be done, I'd rather see a change at GM and give Hartsburg a bit of time guiding a different team. Aaaaaah well.

Do you seriously think I'm basing my opinion on what Quinn is doing with the juniors???? Pretty sure I was clear on why I thought Quinn might be brought in. If you don't think the under performing Sens need a shake up you're nuts.

That actually is pretty funny. I was just talking to a friend about the disaster that is the Sens and we pretty much came to the conclusion it's time to bring in a huge fucking asshole to shake things up and we were going back in forth on potential candidates and I suggested Quinn (who I fucking loathe). After a bit of debating it kind of seemed like not necessarily the worst of options - at least the post game press conferences will be interesting.

I think most preseason predictions (at least all the ones I read) had Indie and Jacksonville ahead of Tennessee and that was with Vince Young at the helm (who's admittedly over rated) so I'm honestly a little shocked by the Titans. Chris Johnson is a stud though, great pick for the Titans considering they got him 24th overall - he's got something like 1150 yards and 40 receptions - pretty fucking solid.

Kerry Collins leading the Titans to a potential 14-2 record has got to up there as well.

It's probably time to blow this team up. I haven't been watching too many games up to this point because I'm focusing on NFL until it's over and then I'll focus on hockey (not that I don't want to but there's only so much sports I can cram down my girlfriend's throat if I want to keep cramming other things down her throat) but jesus christ the 6 or 7 games I've caught so far have been fucking abysmal. Last nights effort was fucking low energy, no power play, no sustained attack and terrible team effort. Neil's hit was enjoyable, that's about it. I guess Fisher played pretty well. Sigh. I think the time might be here to close the book on this era of the Sens.
