  1. God buddy, you had me knocking on wood for you. I'm predicting a Habs vs Caps Eastern Conference Final with Huet throwing down a 1-0 shutout in game 7 and the city of Montreal in flames. No, not really.
  2. Great game by the Habs (and they kept me alive in my pool - those 2 Price shutouts are gold). Boston got bent over. I'm really hoping for an Original 6 Habs vs Rangers and the Young Guns Pens vs Caps matchup. Would be great for hockey.
  3. I think you went for the hat-trick of jinxing there my friend. I'm so superstitous I wasn't going to point it out but I honestly think the Habs are going to rebound nicely, play a way better game and take game 6.
  4. I was just reading an article that basically stated that this year's exit was especially painful and I couldn't disagree more - this one hardly registered. Fuck, it was months in the making and the pain the was nicely distributed. Thanks for another year Sens - I'll be back for more.
  5. Missed the opening sketch but caught Coaches Corner - holy fuck, are you kidding me - that was twisted. Sweet 3rd period. Sigh.
  6. For a team that's been accused of holding their sticks a little too tight when it comes to the playoffs maybe being heavily crapped on and counted out isn't the worst thing - then again Alfie and Fisher being out probably is. (I almost bet against them last night but came to my senses - or lost my senses, not sure which) Fucking Go Sens Go!
  7. The botched Memphis inlet pass that let Kansas within 4 at the end of the 2nd half brought bile into my mouth. Fun game to watch but unhappy about the outcome.
  8. And that was my 500th post - only took me 6 1/2 years. Thank you so much Basher for the heads up on the show.
  9. Uuuuuuuh ..... that may have been a little sick. What an amazing time. It was my first time being at the Church and wow what an unbelievable venue. I thought MMJ really played their hearts outs. They pretty much blew me out of the water. I couldn't say enough good things about them. It was so great to see so many friends out. I really wish we could have stayed longer and caught up some more but duty called. Huge thanks to everyone that made it such a fantastic evening (especially to everyone that helped get it all together).
  10. Clicky Clicky I'm just really bored at work right now. Honestly I couldn't give a shit.
  11. It looks like a tire running over a blue jay.
  12. I was there and don't remember an opening act.
  13. A day late but I'm glad you had a fun Birthday - best wishes.

    I love sports

    Uuuuuuuh......I need to see that.
  15. I've got a few confirmed Emery stories myself - uuuuuh just a little sketchy and that's by my standards.
  16. The boss couldn't make it in to work today so I actually have a spare 30 seconds to lurk. It pretty much proves I shouldn't work un-supervised because I'm fucking the dog. I'll wish you a happy B-day here Roller cuz the Cavern sucks.
  17. Reading a little Fark.com at work Davey Boy?
  18. They were probably just tired out from their celebrations in the locker room during half time.
  19. And yet another happy B-day. Cya tonight for some gateaux.
  20. Whew thanks for the B-day wishes and thx for the emails telling me these B-day wishes have been posted (and apologies to anyone and everyone whose pm'd me in the last 8 months I've been absent). Can't wait for tonights and Friday's celebrations.
  21. Tickets were 1000R ($27) 2000R($54) 3000R($81). I picked up a 2000R in front of the gates and it was the most crowded section but as soon as the show started half the 2000R section hopped the fences into the 3000R. I ended up in the very front of the 2000R section before the cops showed up in force - it was still a very civil and polite fence hopping though. Anyway we're off to the country side tonight but I'll post some more once we arrive in Goa. peace Dave
  22. Qucik log in - no pics sorry Laura had the camera and she wasnt here yet. Mumbai is amazing - having a blast sight seeing and relazing. One more day here and then Im heading NE to explore some ancient Budhists caves then back down south to the shore for some swimming and boozing. peace Dave
  23. was the bomb. One of the best concert experiences of my life. Thought the show would be a big hit amongst the tourists but we were few and far between. The locals were out in massive numbers. The venue was in the outskirts of the city basically on a dirt lot that was covered in carpets surrounded by corrugated metal and bamboo fences. People were going nuts. In the line going in I kind of thought to myself that I wish I was high but once inside the people themselves were more than enough. I couldn't even imagine what the crowd would have been like if they actually consumed anything. The show itself was top notch. Setlist wise it was pretty consistent with the other shows on the tour. Standards like "In the Flesh", "Mother", "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun", "Shine on you Crazy Diamond", "Have a Cigar", "Wish you were here" in the first set along with a some Water originals ("Leaving Lebanon" i think its called was pretty neat and charged with anti-bush sentiment). The Dark Side set was great (really fucking great) and he closed with "Another brick in wall, part 2", "Bring the boys back home", "Comfortably numb" which I think is pretty standard for the tour. Can't say enough about the performance and the atmosphere. peace Dave
