  1. In my humble opinion:

    1) its all chaotic

    2) you create meaning in your mind

    3) there is no grand design

That's not to say that these opportunities and fortunate events are to be brushed off. What you do with these chaotic gifts is another matter altogether.

  2. The fucker in question actually physically attacked the ref and the ref wound up getting 7 stitches in his head.

I can't believe that nobody in the arena took the sonofabitch out right there. The guy is from Pakenham which is where my dad grew up. There a bunch of real tough fistacuff vigilante justice kinda folk out there. I really am surprised it stopped with him hitting the ref.

  3. What constitutes binge drinking? What kind of break do you need between 'binges' to differentiate one's self from a raging drunk?

Either way, I've been blessed with C.R.A.F.T. since the age of 10. I am constantly shocked with what little I can remember of my life. I doubt booze helps but I can't blow it all off on self-abuse.

I've actually lost entire weeks - while sober. Its a sad state of affairs.

  4. It depends how you define normal...

If you mean "reflective of that particular population", I'd have to say yes.

If you mean "in a well adjusted, respectful of community and humanity", I'd have to say no.

  5. Anyone interested in a phenomenal read of the American drug policy should read "Drug Crazy" (author forgotten). It outlines the major players, the abuse of and fabrication of statistics used in the senate hearings and the evolution of American drug law.

Interestingly, at the time opiates were first outlawed in the US there were more white middle class house-wives addicted than blacks/hispanics/asians combined due largely to the use of laudenum.

  6. I'm with you Marco.

A majority is more effective at setting policy, but its policy that is only representative of a fraction of the country's population's preferences.
