Some of these folks have just a weeeee bit of experience (not expecting you to understand) with regards to this festival. So if they want to voice their displeasure, with what is obviously a much weaker than usual lineup announcement, then you might want to afford them their time and space.

Am I the only one somewhat underwhelmed by this year's line-up?

It's a bit of a let-down after all of those rumors that I started.

That said, I'll still be there every night.

Hopefully The Cars have worked on their stage presence since I saw them in 1980.

Quite possibly the most wooden performance I've ever seen.

I loved their first 2 albums though.

With two game sevens, and game 6 of the Habs/Bruins series, tonight may be the most exciting hockey of the season. The "picture in picture" button on my remote will be getting a lot of use.

The Ottawa Sun last week announced that Peter Frampton is confirmed for July 10th.

Hope that's true, but I take anything in the Sun with a grain of salt.

I anyone has an extra single ticket for the Ottawa show, send me a message. A buddy snoozed on the ticket and now wants to go for sure.

You're right Hey Now, concert tickets are getting to be like oil speculation. It's gonna get crazy.

I think I might soon be done with going to the high priced shows. Most of the bands I like to see will either be retired or dead in a few years anyway.

I'll stick with the local festivals which I hope will still be priced reasonably.

Sanderson took over two weeks and repeated calls to do an estimate. Said estimate was considerably higher than others. Went with a dude who was highly recommended by co-workers, gonna get it done this weekend depending on weather.

That's odd that they were less than responsive with you. They did my estimate one day after I contacted them. Then I (actually my wife) dilly-dallied on choosing the colour of shingles for a couple of weeks. They're on my roof right now and will complete the job today.

Anyway, I'm glad you found someone who you should be happy with.

They were more expensive than some of the other estimates I got, but they've been around a long time and have an actual building and address. These days any half-wit with a truck, ladder, and cell-phone is calling himself a "roofer".
