No worries Dinghy - the Art-is-in bakery has caught that bird and has placed it in a digital smoker for the weekend. Next Tuesday it will be ready to be sliced and smothered in truffled mayo and served in sandwich format on a lightly-pressed baguette.

We went there for lunch today. The sandwich I had was excellent.

I noted the hours for those asking:

Mondays: closed all day

Tuesday - Friday: 7am - 6pm

Saturday: 8am - 4pm

Sunday: 10am - 3pm

When does it start?

Just ran into a colleague for the first time this year and he wished me a Happy New Year, and then laughed about it being nearly February.

So, when does it become inappropriate to wish someone a Happy New Year.

Ha Ha, I just had this same discussion with a friend on Wednesday. We came to the conclusion that if it's still January, it's OK to wish someone a happy new year. On Feb. 1st, all bets are off.

Yeah, I can just picture it.

Murray: "It's time to cash in my chips. I'm in my late 60s now, I'd like to run out the clock with some quality family time."

I read in the paper yesterday that Murray wanted to retire after last season, but Melnyk talked him out of it!

If you really want to splurge on a restaurant meal, there's an Emeril's in the South Beach area which serves some of the best food I've ever eaten.

I cannot stress the holocaust memorial enough. It's awe-inspiring.
