  5. I saw the wolfman perform this number on Hilarious house of frightenstien. Then i was playing San Andreas the other day and heard it on the radio. Damn right what a wicked tune. http://www.sendspace.com/file/n9ncyl
  6. http://www.archive.org/details/jsb-gtb2003-01-24.shnf I was listening to this on the weekend - my first jam show. The music I enjoy hearing always gets less and less attention each time I see them
  7. by the end of their show i was one of 3 people watching. I thought it was awesome - but they've changed a lot since i last saw them. nobody came because they played at 12:15 in the morning on a wednesday.
  8. Any idea when the band takes the stage? i'm going to be coming in late
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMyJVHDgCQY This is a cool video but not an accurate representation of their live gigs. you can find many more on youtube
  10. Anyone checking these guys out? http://www.myspace.com/caledoniatheband http://www.caledoniatheband.ca/ I saw them at Shoreline '05 and I think i remember good things. Also Toronto date: Thurs, January 25, 2007 Toronto, The Horseshoe (11:10) I think these guys are semi-jammy - so if you're hankerin' for some - come show y'er support.
  11. boring, call me when he's dressed like this...
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McddemZ6vPI here is the short version
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10VmJ-8XGA4 It,s a bit long but fully worth it!
  14. Sorry this took sooo long. Plus i only know 2 track titles so help me out if you can. This was the show after Gov't Mule/Musical box/The Who weekend. Velvet/Phorbesie/BradM were in attendance with me. I like the first set because the usual Organ player wasn't there, rather, Kevin's brother sat in and he can play! Here are some pics from that night: There's me in the middle...not the older lady! Velvet and Bradm are off to the left. (these photo's were used by permission from R.Sugarman)
  15. hey adam i was thinking of taking the GO bus...did you have to be back tonight?
  16. This is so strange - i had this exact thought yesturday, when i birthed one of the most satisfying of my life. Had to fall between type 3 or 4, crossed with "anaconda" type for its length. Gateaux, I immediatly thought of you - shame how i beat you to post on this thread.
  17. i got a leg cramp at a theatre once...its bad news because you don't have room to stretch out your leg. Doing so means you have to position your body in a way that makes the people sitting next to you feel REALLY uncomfortable.
  18. I can't believe it hasn't sold yet! I like the part about the bathtub/couch...then it goes all MLS listing...Hardwood floors, mstr bedroom... good work HighwayChild!
  19. ....did you say too big??? opera house is tiny for a band like them...(well...it may actually be a good size). the elmo is TINY, has bad sightlines, and becomes a furnace when the place packs up....and the stage is rather small. I hate the opera house, but whatever. Hehehehe, see all you ottawa peeps soon. bring nero.
  20. Perma-smiles alllllll weekend long...I had forgotten just how happy it makes me feel to witness nero perform. Great gathering of folks from all over the place! especially at that place - you guys are awesome and i hope you've slept by now. Thanks to my hosts and the plethora of people i met who were only there to have good times - for a packed house both nights i could not have asked for a better crowd. Thanks to everyone involved in the organization, everything was amazing. This was my first time to ottawa...a visit that will be hard to top! (although i'm up for the challenege)
  21. schwaaaaaaaa. you are classy enough for the whole venue.
  22. I've never seen a two-night run at one venue before, but I was witness to the dead at SPAC in 04 - Wave that flag. The tweeter centre in mansfield, the following night in Saratoga. That was a good time, and the first of what would become many trips to albany. that venue is awesome. The best part is finding the car after the show is done. Unless you remember which hole you've parked next to, it s gonna be a loooong walk. oh yea i forgot this thread was about nero. I listened to soon today, first time in a while...this weekend is going to be spifferific (spiffy times ten and seven sixty-eigths) http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=spifferific giggity giggity, gigity goo.
