Yes and Ontario is one! I heard from others friends and Calgary has a $1000 fine for throwing your cig. butts out the window and in BC it's $2000. So maybe there is a change it will happen here.

I don't get pissed of easily but this does a number on me when i see it.I see it too often here!

If someone smokes in their car that's their business.My problem is when someone throws a lit cig. butt out their window and I am behind them or beside them then that really annoys me. If my window is down it could be thrown in and then what because usually they don't seem to care where they throw it. Another problem i have with it even if they throw it lower and it goes under a car and there is a gas leak that one doesnt know about like I had this summer and didn't know until the line broke and there was gas everywhere. So please if you smoke in your car keep the butts there.

That sounds like a good idea but I wouldn't know if it went out or not. He could be hiding somewhere and I'd be afraid more would get in. So I will be using the Broom,net method next time which I hope there will never be a next time! They are horrible and creepy!!

So last night I went in my bedroom to go to bed and the light had been on.What did i see but a BAt flying around the room. I didn't totally freek out and closed the door to go and get a broom.That's the only weapon I had. I went in swinging like crazy and kept missing the thing. Finally a good swing knocked it to the floor. So I kept swinging the broom and I knocked a doll off the table I had.The bat got caught under the dress of this famous doll and I got the waste basket and a garbage bag and trapped it. i carried it outside and let the bat fall to the ground.i was sure it was dead so I hit it with a mop which only had strings on it. My neighbor was closing her patio door and I was waving frantically at her as I needed support. Needless to say she waved back and closed the door and turned her light off. So i was hitting the bat with this stupid mop and thought ok you had enough i am going in the house and you aren't coming with me. I went out this morning to dispose of the thing and it was no where to be found,not even a trace. I figured if a cat got it there would be something there but nothing. I guess the bat outsmarted me. Tonight I will be prepared just in case. I will get a net or a tennis racket and at the Dollar Store. Bye Bye Bat!

Newfoundland has the strangest holiday. It's called Regatta Day but if you have to work they call it Regreta DAy. The merchants have sales like Boxing DAy unless Regatta DAy changes so does the sale day. It can change if it rains to the following day as long as it doesn't rain..
