hey Velvet, when you did the Inca Trail did you go through a tour or did you do it on your own? Some of these tours are quite expensive (and I never really feel are worth the extra money) but it seems to me that you need to go through an agency or something to book your hike?

So I had this crazy Idea to take a month off and go somewhere random that I've never been before...it seems that most places cost within 200 bucks of a thousand dollars either way to fly to so it has come down to the coolest destination I could think of...one Idea I had was Peru, as somewhere in SA will be my most likely destination Anyway, if anyone has been to Peru I'd love to hear stories (good and bad)...

oh and on seeing John's last show with DSO in Buffalo??? I am soo freaking in...are they playing Town Ballroom?

Good for John for playing with Furthur...Personally he is my favourite member of DSO and it will be hard to replace him, but it would be so cool to see him doing Jerry's parts with people that actually played with Jerry. I wish I lived in San Francisco so I could go see this...

I think most airports worldwide are subsidized by the gov't. Most except Pearson which means that all the extra taxes and fees are downgraded on to the person flying in and out. Making Pearson one of the most expensive airports out there, unfortunately.... It's an interesting debate with merits to both sides...discuss

Awesome show! The friggen St Stephen jam was wicked and the Mule was one of the best I've ever heard....I had seats in the last row but was dancing up at the stage all night... Great venue
