  1. Not typically the music I listen to, but damn, this is great.
  2. That fuckin" gif of the guy and the bus, I don't know what exactly it is about it but it near brings me to tears of laughter every time I watch it. It may be tied for my favourite gif of all time. The below classic gif being my favourite. Both make me laugh way too much for what they are.
  3. Cheers my friend, I'll be sure and throw a couple everclears back later today in your honour.

Man I miss the Gourds, but Shinyribs (Kevin Russell of the Gourds) never disappoints. https://www.wideopencountry.com/the-next-waltz-brokedown-palace/

Its a pretty awesome cover that's for sure. Gets a lot of play around here. While I love OCMS, I was really impressed that they didn't bluegrass it up.
  6. Lee Moses - Bad Girl (part one) & Bad Girl (part two)
  7. Yeah, wasn't a slag on the fest name, I was just curious as I haven't really kept up on the acts that play the fest anymore and hadn't really heard of any. Only play catch up when I read through the reviews and threads ya'll share though. I looked for that thread awhile back when trying to recall the bands I saw when I last attended - jeebus 21 yrs. ago - thought I went to one after that, but guess I didn't. I still have my t-shirt from the 97 fest somewhere, though it doesn't come close to fitting anymore. Must have shrunk...
  8. David Rawlings/Gillian Welch - solo, duel or whatever band they have at the time etc. William Elliott Whitmore Tyler Childers Not sure if all this would be too country-ish for Bluesfest though. No sarcasm, serious question: are there any blues bands that play the main stages anymore?
  9. Buddy Guy, Jack Bruce & Buddy Miles 1969

Not sure when I downloaded it - most likely years back when I cruised all corners of the blog-o-sphere downloading anything & everything that looked good to me. Truth be told, I kind of didn't realize I had it. That track showed up showed up one night recently during a playlist shuffle (on winamp - yes, that's still my main player) and I've had a hard time not playing it daily since. Great stuff for sure.

Ha, it sort of is though. It was first released by Moloch, but written, and then later released (1972) by Don Nix (as noted above). If anything, I shared the non-cover.? ...and I won't be putting my bong down anytime soon.
  13. Three 'teaser' tracks to check out via link: https://liveforlivemusic.com/news/owsley-allman-brothers-recording-1970/
