Not a single person I saw fit to vote for.
Reminded me of this:

I'm really really hoping they have Frank Fairfield in tow again, has anyone heard who they'll have opening?

Anyone try this American-style IPA (it's from Cambridge/Gault)? It's not easy to find in Toronto, but some LCBOs carry the 650ml bottle. It's pretty tasty and packs a bit of a punch. God bless IPA:
A buddy and I stopped at the Brewery a few weeks ago while working in the area. Good stuff, it's a British style IPA not American, by the way.
Over the last year I've developed a taste for English style ales, the American craft ales just don't carry enough kick for me, although still very tasty.

Awesome album.
Seasick Steve - Started Out With Nothin' & Still Got Most Of It Left.

Have only heard this track so far but its amazing!
YouTube - Beastie Boys- "Make Some Noise"
I'm no authority on the Beasties, but that didn't sound anything like them to me compared to the version the band posted to the April 6th entry ('Make Some Noise' - audio) on the blog you linked in your second post.

Still trying to piece together then complete Dortmund show on DVD, was hoping this was it.
Cool collection of video clips though. Thanks.

Gregg Allman, John Mayall, Jimmie Vaughan, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Willie (Big Eyes) Smith and Bettye LaVette.
Sold.
I haven't seen Mayall or Vaughan in years, last time I believe for either was at LuLu's in KW. Alvin Youngblood never disappoints either.

(((insert esau's methadone schpeil here)))
a couple of friends of mine prepared their usual amount of gear in the usual way, both have a large tolerance and take 50mls (250 mgs) of methadone so use .6 or .7 between them, this time the girl got a third of the way down the syringe and felt similar symptoms as when you are about to 'go over'- extreme itching (unbearable) blood rush to the head, funny taste in mouth etc. after a while she had the rest of the hit and this passed off normally. this then happened to the chap same symptoms but with some face swelling. Am i right in thinking this was high levels of codeine causing this?

Willie Nelson told to sing to save himself from jail
Texan attorney wants him to pay a small fine and sing Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain in court to avoid prison for drugs possession

I'd love to see Vedder solo again. I love PJ and all, but Eddie's solo shit is awesome and with Glen Hansard I imagine it'll be even more a string puller on the emotions.
Fingers crossed for a Canadian (Toronto) date. Thanks for the heads up.

Still blows my mind to see all these folks I played hockey with making great music. Mike & I played on the same team for a few years. He was shorter then me back then...if that helps with a time-line...lol
Cheers Bri, been a long time since I made it out to a show, guess I should remedy that sometime.

I don't usually find these types of videos all that great, but once in a while someone actually hits it..

I wouldn't be surprised if Sheen's pulling a Joaquin Phoenix style hoax. Either that or he's been diagnosed with a terminal illness and is just riding it out in some grand freak show way.

You know, if this wasn't in the food forum....

BTW I'm @shammyhuxtable but I've written 1 thing in 6 months so don't expect much from me.
About the same as me. I re-activated mine recently to follow the whole Charlie Sheen shit.

All good man, wasn't sure. No apology needed. As for forfeiting salary, to be honest, I forgot about that. I was sort of thinking more along the lines of a reduction in salary overall. Unlikely I know, but I imagine it would curb a lot of bullshit we see on the ice now-a-days if a player knew he would lose say, 5k (as an example) overall on his total salary per year. They may think twice before pulling any crap.
I also like Lowroller's suggestion of re-education, which could no doubt be a huge hit to their pays.
