Listening to some new tracks on their website. Very impressed and would really really like to make it to the show thursday....doubt it will happen though.

Check out some before and after pics from around Canada, mostly Toronto and Vancouver. Pretty neat.

Happy Birthday Brad! The friendly face I can count on to see at shows.

He hasn't been around the forums much because he's busting his ass soooo hard in school right now, and being a super daddy, but I'd like to share the birthday love with ya'll anyways.
Happy big 30 my love!!!

I am also going to attempt cooking lamb for the first time this weekend. I found this recipe for Spinach Stuffed Lamb and picked up my huge boneless leg of lamb at Costco for $25.00 today. The recipe sounds delicious so wish me luck that I won't screw it up and can impress the hell out of my parents with a yummy meal.
Any suggestions of what may go good with it? It's filled with spinach, feta, and garlic. I'm thinking a greek salad and maybe some sort of seasoned rice.

Wow, that's horrible! He was a huge influence to many. Really nice guy too, I got a chance to hang out with him at his hotel after a show in Edmonton.
RIP Mikey Dread

I was going to post this in the food forum but thought it was too cool I must share it with you all.

Definitely trying this next time I'm in Montreal.

That Deep Elem Blues, Keller played that night was just sick. We took our oldest daughter to this show, she was 11 days old. I thought DMB was one of the better Toronto shows they have put on over the years.
This show will sell out real quick and I wouldnt be counting on cheap lawns. It was 49.85 +11. 25 service charge that night.
11 day old daughter eh? That's very cool, were you on the lawn? So the Molson amp allows young kids? I may just have to consider this one. The more shows we can bring the little guy to the better.

I just got back into knitting while I was pregnant. I have so much yarn, but haven't had the time to pick it up lately, although I really really want to.

Yeah when Matt and I were at his parents around x-mas we listened to Jam ON on their radio for almost 3 days (off and on) but never heard Phish once. A few Trey tunes, but nooooo phish.
I used to listen to it online at work once in a while too. Definitely repeats as I listened at the same time every day. Then I'd wait a month and listen again and it would be switched up a bit..but not much.

The Sommerset West Community Centre may have idea's for that area I mentioned.
Good suggestion. They're a great place to go and probably get tons of feedback from people young and old. I know I was there last week for a playgroup and one lady mentioned theres a park near Primrose (off Preston) that needs cleaning up, cops have put out warnings of needles and such. I imagine a lot of the downtown core parks have the same problem, but I think there should be more of a watch on the ones with playgrounds where kids play.

What is this place called and where exactly on Somerset is it? I've heard lots about it but never found it.

I baked them at 350 for 20 minutes. Came out perfect. Oh I also topped them with cheese.
I want to try to stuffed peppers too, I imagine cooking time would be the same.

I've recently discovered how easy and yummy it is to make stuffed tomatoes. Just wondering if anyone has any favorite recipes as there are so many out there. Vegetarian or meaty doesn't matter to me. I made a beef, corn, peppers and herbe de provence mix last night and I found it fun, super easy and yummy. Served it with rice and toasted parmesan pita bread. Yummy..yummy.
Suggestions anyone?

Bumping this post as now the movie is on dvd and I got a chance to see it.
I thought it was very well done, and the actors were remarkable and all had outstanding voices. I felt very drawn in the entire movie, there wasn't a boring moment in my opinion. I think a lot of hard work went into this movie and props to the writers and directors for making it a worthwhile watch.

Lot and lots of garlic has always been good for the immune system as far as I'm concerned. Echinachea and probiotics are always good. Check out a natural food store, I'm sure they can give you loads of suggestions too.

I think he's great. I have no problem listening to him or seeing him live. He makes fun funky sounds and I never have a problem getting down to his music.

Wow, crazy news. I think he was a great actor. I just saw the movie "Candy" recently where he played a poet who was addicted to heroin and brought his artist girlfriend down with him. I must say, he played the part quite well...kind of a Requiem for a Dream type movie, just not as intense.

Just Friday night for Matt and Me, but we're sooo excited to get out! First baby free evening..I hope I can make it the whole night!

I've only been to one stag and doe, and the hottest game there seemed to be "Who can hammer a nail in a piece of wood in the least amount of swings."
More for the men as they can "prove" their masculinity.

I'd love to start sprouting! Get that documentary up so I can get well educated on the process.
