Looks awesome and hilarious.

Thanks again for all your kind words. We're decided on Trey James Marion, it's official. I definitely think it suits him... and he's got long fingers!
-
Thanks for all the kind words guys! It's so amazing having a little one around, just so adorable, I can't get enough of him!
The name thing is surprisingly a lot harder than it should be, but we just can't decide. Thanks for the suggestions! James is going to be the middle name, as that's Matt's and his Dad's middle name as well.
Trey James Marion....you guy's like?

Just a reminder to all you Ontarians, today is your day to vote!

We're hoping our little one will pop out sometime this week....getting soooo anxious.

Wow! It's going to be so weird when we're all driving around in those is 50 years...or less. Sooo futuristic, where's the flying contraptions?
-
Ohhhh man, I haven't had sticky buns from Fundy in years. Never drove through there without getting some as a kid. Mmmmmmm.....I miss home.
I'd go see Slowcoaster probably as well, they don't come through here as often as JSB. Have fun where ever you decide to go!

I put in my vote for the guitar as well. They're all really cool!

Well we got a car for the night, so your welcome to come with us Brad (check pm), and we may possibly have room for another person or two if anyone is interested.

Bumpity Bump for the show in Wakefield tonight. Will be going if a ride is arranged.
If your into Ben Harper, and some mellow freestylin' stuff I definitely suggest giving these guys a listen.

I caught that Rubarbicon on IFC as well, I hadn't even heard about it before then. Pretty funny, I love Greg Hemmings.
And yes, is Lure still opening? I hope so
See ya'll at the show.

Wicked show, great turnout, awesome energy! Thanks to the band for rocking so hard, second last show of the tour. Lots of groovin' folks, really good to see. Hope to see Wassabi back here soon.

$15 or not, I'll be there, I love this band.

Just skimming through the channels and found Trey band playing Austin City Limits. If you've got Rogers digital cable its channel 162....High Definition
We just got this cable box and I've never experienced so many channels before as I grew up with only 2. Pretty sweet for 3:00 in the afternoon.

I don't blame the guys for wanting to play together again, and they are pretty decent musicians. Especially Chris Thorn, he'd bust out so many different instruments and play the heck out of them. I agree they should call themselves something else and take an approach that they all want to. Something different, because they'll never have the same quality they did with Shannon, they shouldn't try and re-live it. That's got to be tough for any band....
-
Congratulations! Wow you really did a great job choosing the names and they have such great meanings, that's so wonderful! It's so nice to see a father so proud and expressing it so much. A little over a month now and I'll understand what that feeling is like to bring a child of your own into the world.
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful news with us.

Unfortunately it's too close to baby popping time so Matt and I gotta sit this one out. But next year folks! We'll have a little groovin baby, bare foot in tie-dies. Hehe Have fun all you freaky people.

Thanks Tim....now I'm more scared to be here...lol. Matt and I just moved on this street, about a block down from the fire, in April, right next to where Carribean Flavors used to be (It burned down a month before we moved in) I'm feeling less and less inclined to want to be here and with a new baby coming in 2 months, I'm considering finding a new place that's not so old and is less of a fire hazard. I hate worrying about this stuff but it's better to be safe then sorry I guess.

I was at Coventry, but still to this day can't recall the memories clearly enough. I do remember that Velvet Sea and the emotion in the air. Wish I could go back and soak up that weekend a little more.

Music World Set To Close Stores
in Soundboard
Posted
Aww man that's crappy news. I worked at Music World in Edmonton for a while and I liked the fact that it was a small Canadian music store that wasn't hard to find things in. People think the prices are higher but one of my jobs there was to go and price check on HMV's stock so we could make sure ours were lower. Looks like it didn't work well enough though, the people who are still buying cd's will go to the bigger store as there is more selection.
I agree with you Ollie, I still know lots of people who listen to cassettes and live by them. Vinyl is also still a precious thing to more people than we think. Even the younger generations are into it. Heck only a few years ago when I was in high school, I was digging vinyl and built up my collection quite well, going to those old local beat down record shops. Sadly they're all slowly dying off and I hate to think that there will come a day where finding a shop like that will be next to impossible. Records will only be available at antique shops or on Ebay.....
sad. sad.
