2 day festival for that price is amazing and I think they chose that venue to keep the cost low.

8/24 - Simcoe, ON Canada @ Norfolk County Fairgrounds Tickets to the Stopovers go on sale at 11 am local time on February 8th. The tickets are $109, and will have no additional service fees or hidden charges.

He has a band playing with him. It's listed as "Jim James and The Giant" so I think it's intentionally separate the other projects he's got.

He's got a solo album out or coming out, I don't know it's already leaked. The album hasn't really done it for me so far. I'm sure he'll kick out a few MMJ tunes though.

I'm pretty sure their producer David Barbe is still playing bass for them. Patterson said there is no plans to replace Neff. I know their keyboardist Jay Gonzalez plays guitar as well and it looks like he did (at least for a while) on their NYE run.

I can't see anything topping this that weekend. It's an incredible lineup at an incredible venue. What's gonna come along that's better? A Phish show in Connecticut?

Isbell has made a very solid career with his own band. I honestly think what he does with the 400 Unit is better than what he was doing with DBT. Anytime Shonna played a song I would go for a smoke or a washroom break. Neff was a great player and such a great addition to the band, sad to see him go. But as phorbesie said, as long as there is Patterson and Cooley nothing will derail that rock train!

if it's anything like the First Aid Kit show I saw there no one even checks the ticket to get on the floor. I think that show was undersold though so that may be why.

I've lost all sexual interest in Shonna since she's ruined two awesome members of that band by fucking them. It's bullshit what Neff did. Very tasteless. That being said her and Neff have a new band called Eye Candy. Haven't heard much of it but I never cared for her vocals as it is.

oh, and haven't you ever heard of Coachella Festival?!!?
