  1. gotta love negligence laws. down the road i'd like to be a commercial liability adjuster and work against those pesky lawyers, lol.
  2. marky, was there ever a release of that blood sweat and tears / DCT thing you had booked two falls ago?
  3. dima, if they fill half the theatre on a tuesday night, i'd be very impressed.
  4. I know American law is different but, even if they did sign a waiver 'waiving' the station of any liability, in court would it not have to be proven that those who signed the waiver explicitly knew of any and all risks, and accepted them by signing the waiver? i doubt the waiver explained the chances of death due to intoxication. i find negligence and liability laws facinating.
  5. "(and shouldn't it be the hip opening for the slip?)" i guess it depends on where the show is happening.... if its in the states, a co-bill might be appropriate, as the Hip aren't very big in the states.... Obviously if its Canada, then the answer is clear.
  6. well, some folks will fly to europe to see the show....
  7. Tales from the Hudson is a must get.
  8. WHAT?! wow. he was probably my favorite Saxophonist i've ever had the pleasure of seeing perform. Rest In Peace (hope your jammin' with Miles again!)

  11. thanks brad....as i said, was only going from memory. i do remember, now that look at the setlist, that the tube was my first, and i really enjoyed it. i also remember the fluff being my first, and really not enjoying it. then i remember really enjoying the character zero and chalkdust torture.....even though they are standards..... i think teh small arena vibe was my favorite. its the smallest venue i've seen phish at....and i was front row for the first and last time of my phish going shows.
  12. i enjoyed rochester 99 a lot. without checking the setlist, if i remember correctly, they played a great mikes groove, a nice frankenstein, a funky moma dance, and some more good stuff. all good though.
  13. PJ=hasbeen? but then trey in the next sentence?
  14. agonizing? i simply said i hadn't heard of them, and now i know why....
  15. ahhh Indie Rock, thats why i have no idea who they are....
  16. agreed! and i just heard on the news that he is digitally remastering and rereleasing all of his old albums (some 18 of them) as well as releasing a new album, and starting a new tour in April. not too bad for a 60 year old ass kicker!
  17. "Come see the original line-up of Sebadoh with me in March. Lord knows no one else is going to." Who is That?
  18. yes, it is. i couldn't even tell you who he's playing with this time around.... but like you, after last time seeing him, i vowed never, ever, to miss him. he's amazing. that reminds me, i have to pick up my tickets from the box office.
  19. It was only the second show, behind metheny, that i looked forward to this year.... now its just metheny.
